VerbCompass Online is a free browser-based reference and study companion for English-speaking learners of Spanish. It requires no account or installation.
No testing obligation: you and your learners may use the browser edition whether or not you give feedback or join the Android test.

- Open VerbCompass Online. No sign-in is needed.
- Search one useful item: an infinitive, a conjugated form, or an English meaning.
- Inspect the result. Check whether the definition, conjugation, and level information help explain it.
- Save it and start a short practice. See whether the flow could support a current lesson or learner.
- Decide for yourself. Keep using it if it is useful; tell us what is missing if it is not.
Clear expectations
What the browser edition does—and does not do.
VerbCompass currently provides individual verb reference, saved verb pools, study settings, and practice. It does not provide teacher accounts, rosters, assignments, grades, learner monitoring, or LMS integration.
No VerbCompass account is required. Study preferences and progress stay in that browser on that device. We do not use advertising or analytics. Clearing browser storage can remove locally saved data.
Educators should follow their institution’s normal review and approval requirements before directing students to any outside resource. Please do not submit student names, student work, or other student information through the feedback form below.
Why we are offering it free
A useful resource now, and an honest path toward what comes next.
The browser edition is genuinely free to use. Our immediate product goal is to bring VerbCompass—Spanish Verb Companion to a public Google Play release. Google requires us to complete a Closed Test before we can apply for Production access, so feedback from real adult users is especially valuable right now.
A successful Spanish release will also establish the product foundation for additional VerbCompass editions. The next intended direction is English verbs for Spanish-speaking learners, designed around English rather than treated as a simple translation.
None of that creates an obligation for educators or learners who use the free resource. Educator feedback and participation in the Android Founding Tester program are two separate, optional ways to help.
